Valencia are showing interest in Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev, Catalan daily Sport has suggested.
It is no secret that los Che aim to recruit a quality winger in January and they have so far been linked with the likes of Nicolas Gaitan and Andre Carrillo.
However, the latest reports claim that Valencia could make a move on Real Madrid starlet Denis Cheryshev instead.
Los Che have been impressed with the Russian’s performances while on loan at Villarreal and they are ready to make their interest concrete in case the 24-year-old becomes available.
Cheryshev has only played 14 minutes of league football this term and it is clear he is not in the first team plans of coach Rafael Benitez.
And with the winger eager to make Russia squad for the Euro 2016 finals, he will attempt to engineer a move away from Santiago Bernabeu in the winter transfer window.
