The experienced 34-year-old Italy international Thiago Motta is coming close to the end of his time with French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
Motta has already confirmed this will be his last season in France as he opted against extending his stay with the Saints beyond the current season.
With his contract expiring at the end of campaign, Motta will be free to open talks with interested clubs and according to the latest reports coming from the Italian media outlet Corierre dello Sport, the Brazil-born midfielder could be returning to La Liga.
Thiago Motta has spent five years playing in Spain, representing Barcelona and Atletico Madrid and could be making his return with Valencia boss Cesare Prandelli reportedly keen to add the 34-year-old to his squad.
Motta spent six years in Paris since his move from Serie A giants Inter. This season he made eight starts in the Ligue 1 and 11 appearances in total.
