Valencia keen on Viviano

Il Corriere dello Sport has learned that Valencia are weighing up bid for Palermo goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.

Los Che shot-stopper Vicente Guaita could be the subject of a late bid from Arsenal, and the club seem to have a replacement ready should the Spaniard’s move to the Emirates go through.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Valencia plan to make a move on former Italy international Emiliano Viviano.

The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at his boyhood club Fiorentina, but was unable to persuade the club chiefs to make his transfer permanent.

He has since returned to Renzo Barbera, but the fact he is no longer considered a first team regular at Palermo could see him leave again in the summer transfer window.

Emiliano Viviano, who has 3 Italy caps to his name, made no less than 32 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina last season, but never quite managed to impress at Artemio Franchi.
