Valencia are showing interest in Red Star winger Darko Lazovic, Spanish daily Superdeporte has revealed.
Even if Sofiane Feghouli opts to remain at Mestalla, los Che will need to sign another right-sided midfielder and they are now identifying their targets.
Elche midfielder Jordi Xumetra and Las Palmas’ Vitolo are on the list of potential reinforcements, but Superdeporte claims Valencia are also keeping close tabs on Serbian midfielder Darko Lazovic.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season last term, when he scored 9 goals and produced 10 assists in 37 games, but the youngster has struggled for form this season.
Valencia sporting director Braulio Vazquez is, nonetheless, convinced the player has what it takes to develop into a high-quality player and could decide to try and sign him in the summer.
Vazquez has an excellent relationship with football agent Zoran Stojadinovic, who was recently appointed Red Star sporting director, which should help los Che lure the youngster to Mestalla.
