Spanish newspaper Marca understands that Valencia are readying bid for Lyon full-back Aly Cissokho.
Having sold Jordi Alba to Barcelona at the start of the summer, signing a new left-back was always a priority for los Che.
However, with less than two weeks to go before the transfer window closes, the La Liga side have yet to succeed in their quest.
Following the failed attempts to sign Guilherme Siqueira and Didac Vila, los Che are now looking at Lyon full-back Aly Cissokho.
The good news is that les Gones are willing to cash in on their prized asset in the summer transfer market, but the problem is Lyon value the player at €10 million.
Marca claims that Valencia have already offered around €4 million and are prepared to raise the bid to €6 million, which is unlikely to be enough to lure the player to Mestalla.
Lyon president recently revealed they had received two official offers for the 24-year-old, one from England and another one from Spain.
