Valencia and Monaco are believed to be showing interest in Atletico Madrid star Adrian Lopez, reports El Mundo Deportivo.
The highly rated attacker has spent much of the last season on the fringes at Vicente Calderon, although he played an important role in some crucial fixtures during the season finale.
However, with the player not exactly satisfied with his status at the club, he could decide to leave los Colchoneros this summer.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Valencia and Monaco are ready to pounce as the two clubs value the forward highly.
Adrian Lopez has a contract until June 2018 at Vicente Calderon and an €18 million release clause, while it remains to be seen if Atletico officials will be ready to entertain offers for his services.
The 26-year-old only started 4 La Liga fixtures last term, while making another 18 substitute appearances, although he played an important part in club’s Copa del Rey and Champions League campaigns.
