Spanish newspaper Marca is reporting that Valencia have started the search for a new central defender.
With Adil Rami set to complete a loan move to Milan in the January transfer window, los Che are already working on signing him a replacement.
However, the problem is there is no money in the budget for new players, meaning Valencia can only sign someone on loan or a free transfer.
At least they are going to save the €600,000 in wages that Adil Rami was supposed to earn in the second part of the season, and they are hoping they can attract a quality player by offering him the same wage to that of the Frenchman.
Valencia have had a pretty slow start to the league campaign under new boss Miroslav Djukic, but have since improved to pick up 10 points from last 4 matches. As a result, the odds on los Che to finish in top 4 has been slashed to 2/1.
