Valencia still trying to sign Ceballos?

According to a recent report from Marca, Valencia are still interested in trying to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos. At this moment in time he’s still on loan with Arsenal, but the belief is that he will not be interested in making his way back to the Santiago Bernabeu – even when the loan comes to an end.

Valencia are attempting to rise up through the ranks of Spanish football once again, and while there may be a few clubs ahead of them in the pecking order, it definitely feels like they’re heading in the right direction.

Nobody knows for sure whether or not anyone is capable of breaking the hold that Barca and Real have had on La Liga ever since Atletico’s brief stint on top, but at the same time, people have always undervalued Valencia – and the same could be said for a player like Ceballos. Perhaps, in this case, it’s the perfect fit.
