According to a recent report from Marca, La Liga side Valencia are still interested in signing Javier Hernandez. It’s been no secret that they’ve been sniffing around the Mexican forward for quite some time now, following an initial £7 million bid. The Hammers are believed to want up to £12 million instead for the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, despite the fact that his goal scoring tally has dried up a bit in recent times. The forward is widely considered to be one of the most likeable players in European football right now, and it’s been that way ever since he entered the equation with United back in 2010. He’s certainly gone through inconsistent spells in front of goal and he’ll be the first one to tell you that, but he’s still one of the hardest working strikers around – which is a talent many clubs look for in the modern era.
