Valencia stoppers in high demand
Superdeporte is reporting that Valencia centre-backs Nicolas Otamendi and Shkodran Mustafi are followed by Europe’s top clubs.
Manchester United have already been credited with an interest in the Argentine defender, who appears to be their number one target for the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils had scout Carlos Ruiz make a check on the highly rated defender in the weekend’s triumph over Elche, meaning they could soon come forward with an official proposal.
At the same time, German high-flyers Wolfsburg watched both Otamendi and Mustafi in action in said game, as they, too, are in the market for defensive reinforcements.
Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur were another high-profile club to have their scouts present at the Elche v Valencia game, as they were taking a closer look on Shkodran Mustafi and Dani Parejo.
Los Che have climbed to third in La Liga standings with a 4-0 triumph over the relegation strugglers and are now 1/1 to see off Villarreal at Mestalla.
Bittencourt linked with Dortmund return
Hannover midfielder could be returning to Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, according to Bild.
The 21-year-old left the Millionaires in the summer of 2013 in search of first team football and he has done well to get his career back on track.
Bittencourt quickly developed into an important player for the 96ers, and Borussia Dortmund officials have been impressed with his progress.
As a result, the Millionaires could decide to activate a €5 million buy-back clause that was inserted in his contract.
Leonardo Bittencourt was sent off at the start of the second half in the weekend’s clash between Hannover and Dortmund, after setting up a goal for Lars Stindl.
Nevertheless, both his current and former employers were impressed with his performance in a match that eventually ended 2-3.
Porto eyeing Senegalese starlet

The Dragons have become famous for signing cheap youngsters and selling them on for huge profit few years later and they intend to do the same with the Senegalese defender.
Mouhameth Sane has yet to be handed his senior debut at Dijon and has only made one appearance for the reserve side.
However, the 18-year-old largely impressed playing for Senegal at the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Terranga Lions were defeated in the final by Nigeria.
Sane signed a two-year contract with Dijon in October 2014, meaning he should be available on a cut-price deal in the summer transfer window.
The centre-back is currently playing for Dijon’s Under-20 side, but is expected to be promoted to the first team set-up in the coming weeks.
