Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia are hot on the trail of Nice forward Franck Honorat, L’Equipe can reveal.
The 19-year-old has shown some promise after coming through the youth ranks at Allianz Riveira, making a total of 19 Ligue 1 appearances for les Aiglons.
However, he has mostly been playing for the reserves this term and is currently on a youth contract, which means he can leave on a free transfer in the summer.
That is something La Liga side Valencia will attempt to exploit as they seem to believe that Honorat has the potential to develop into a quality footballer.
According to reports from France, los Che are set to offer the talented attacker a three-year contract, and they first want him to prove his worth in the reserves before promoting the player to the senior side.
While making six substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Nice, Honorat has scored 5 goals in 15 outings for the reserves this season.
