Real Mallorca forward Giovani dos Santos could be the first signing of new Valencia boss Miroslav Djukic, Marca has revealed.
Los Che squad are set to undergo a major overhaul in the summer, with the likes of Adil Rami, Jeremy Mathieu, Fernando Gago and Sofiane Feghouli all linked with moves away from the club.
This basically means that the club need to start working on summer reinforcements and Marca reports that Mallorca’s Giovani dos Santos could be the first player to arrive.
Valencia have already opened talks with the club that were relegated to Segunda, offering around €7 million for the player’s services.
Mallorca are expected to try and pump up the price, but it is believed the two clubs will eventually reach an agreement.
The 24-year-old Mexican has registered 6 goals and 7 assists in 29 La Liga fixtures this season, but chances are he will fare even better if he joins one of Spain’s top clubs.
