La Liga giants Valencia have yet to make a decision on the future of Brazilian midfielder Danilo Barbosa, according to Superdeporte.
Los Che paid the €300,000 for a season long loan last summer, and it has now been revealed that they have the option to purchase 50% of the player’s contract for €7.5 million between May and June.
This is enough to suggest that the club officials will have a decision to make, with the jury still out on the 19-year-old footballer, who has so far made 15 La Liga appearances for the Mestalla outfit.
The Brazil Under-20 World Cup star has shown a great deal of promise this term, but was also quite poor in some games, struggling for consistency throughout the season.
And with the club highly unlikely to secure European qualification, they might not be prepared to splash out on the youngster unless he can show considerable improvement between now and the end of the season.
