Valencia to offer Halilovic escape route from Hamburg

German daily newspaper Bild has learned that Valencia are hot on the trail of Hamburger SV midfielder Alen Halilovic.

The Croatia international has had a very difficult start to his career in Germany, playing just over two hours of football in the current Bundesliga campaign.

Halilovic is, therefore, determined to leave the club in search of first team football and Hamburg are ready to consider loan offers for his services.

According to Bild, Valencia have emerged as the main candidates for his signature, with los Che desperate to add a creative midfielder to their ranks.

Having impressed during the loan spell with Sporting Gijon, Halilovic has a long list of suitors among La Liga sides, but the Mestalla outfit look set to win the chase, taking the 20-year-old on loan until the end of the season.

Halilovic made a total of 36 La Liga outings last season, scoring 3 goals and setting up another 5.
