La Liga high-flyers Valencia have decided to turn Geoffrey Kondogbia’s loan deal into permanent move, according to Superdeporte.
Everybody at Mestalla has been impressed with the Frenchman’s performances this season, but they had doubts whether to exercise the buy-out clause due to financial difficulty.
However, latest reports suggest that chairman Peter Lim and his associates have decided Kondogbia is too important for the club to let him leave at the end of the season.
As a result, Valencia plan to splash out €25 million by 31st May, making sure they become the sole owners of the player’s economic rights.
The 25-year-old has performed admirably this season, making 24 La Liga outings and scoring 4 goals.
