Valencia are interested in signing Cesc Fabregas from AS Monaco in the summer of 2021, according to El Gol Digital. It has been reported by the Spanish news outlet that the La Liga outfit have made securing the services of the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder a priority.
Los Che are struggling in La Liga at the moment, and there is a chance that they could end up getting relegated to the second division in Spain at the end of the season. Valencia currently find themselves 12th in the standings with 30 points from 27 matches, just seven points above the relegation zone.
Fabregas started his professional club football career at Arsenal before moving back to Barcelona where he was a youth player in 2011. The 33-year-old Spanish midfielder joined Chelsea in 2014 and left the Blues for Monaco in 2019. According to WhoScored, Febragas has made five starts and 10 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 so far this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.
