Valencia want Dzeko

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Valencia are interested in making a move for Edin Dzeko this summer.

In the eyes of many, Dzeko is best known for his days with Manchester City. While he enjoyed a lot of good times at the Etihad, you’d have to think the 36-year-old has earned the right to receive praise from elsewhere given what he’s accomplished since leaving English football.

After five years with Roma he made the switch to Inter Milan last year and in that time, he’s played an integral role in helping them get back to their former glories.

Of course, his age was always going to suggest that he wouldn’t be there for an extended stay, which is why it’s unsurprising to hear that Inter are ‘willing’ to move Dzeko on during the current transfer window.

The veteran is wanted by Valencia but at this moment in time, his wages are believed to be the biggest obstacle.
