Cadena COPE is reporting that Valencia hope to bring full-back Joao Cancelo back to Mestalla in the upcoming transfer window.
The highly rated footballer joined Inter Milan last summer on a season-long loan with an option to buy for €30 million.
However, he has since failed to secure regular playing time and it is highly unlikely the Nerazzurri will exercise said buy-out clause.
Missing the start of the season through injury, Cancelo has only played 45 minutes of football in Serie A, and now Valencia want him back at Mestalla.
Los Che do not want to see the value of their star player decrease any further and they will attempt to cut the loan deal short in January.
Los Che have enjoyed a tremendous start to the new league campaign and they are 33/1 chance to lift the league trophy.
