Valencia winger Mata welcomes Barca interest

(GSM) – Juan Manuel Mata is thrilled by Barcelona’s interest in signing him from Valencia.

Barca coach Josep Guardiola has told his board to move for the Spain international midfielder.

“I know nothing, all of these topics I refer to my father. In any case, it is not the first time my name has been mentioned as a possible signing of Barcelona,” said Mata, a former Real Madrid Castilla star.

“For me it is an honor that a club of Barcelona’s potential is interested in my employment.”
