Fede Valverde has made it perfectly clear he has no intention of leaving Real Madrid in the near future, despite recent rumours about interest from around Europe and the possibility of Real agreeing to let him leave. According to Fabrizio Romano, Valverde’s departure from the Santiago Bernabeu has never even been discussed within the club, not even when several English clubs inquired about his availability a few years back.

One of the clubs mentioned in that aspect was Liverpool, who are set to undergo a midfield rebuild this summer. Valverde has a history of being on the same pitch with the Merseysiders, having assisted Vinicius Junior for the winning goal in the Champions League final last year and played a significant role in Real’s 2-5 triumph at Anfield two weeks ago in this season’s round of 16.
The rematch in Madrid will take place on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old Uruguay international is under contract with Real until the summer of 2027.
