Netherlands boss Marco van Basten has dropped several players from his pre-selection for the European Championships, and added defender Khalid Bouhlarouz.
Last week, Van Basten announced a selection of 30 players. Clarence Seedorf had already announced not to be available for the European Championship, and now another four players were removed.
Defenders Urby Emanuelson (Ajax) and Kew Jaliens (AZ), midfielder Hedwiges Maduro (Valencia) and striker Danny Koevermans (PSV) will not be representing the Dutch team in Switzerland and Austria this summer.
Hamburg defender Khalid Boulahrouz has joined the preselection, from which another two players will need to be removed.
Hedwiges Maduro will not be inactive this summer though, as the Valencia player has been called up for the Olympic team.
