Van Bommel agrees PSV switch

Milan midfielder Mark van Bommel has already agreed to sign for PSV Eindhoven when his contract expires at the end of the season, Voetbal International understands.

The veteran midfielder has just a couple of months left on his deal at San Siro and the club are unlikely to offer him a contract extension.

The player, who made a name for himself at PSV Eindhoven, recently confirmed his desire to return to his former club.

Voetbal International now reveals that Van Bommel has agreed to join PSV when his contact expires at the end of the season, initially one a one-year deal.

Both Milan and PSV were eager to keep this agreement a secret as they await decisive battles in their respective championships.

AC Milan are battling Juventus for the Serie A title, whereas PSV Eindhoven sit one point clear of Champions League places and have just two games to catch second-placed Feyenoord.
