Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar doesn’t exclude a comeback in the national squad of the Netherlands.

The experienced goalie is still recovering from a finger fracture but leaves the door open for a new chapter of his international career.

The 38-year-old retired after last year’s European Championships but after that he already made a comeback when his successor Maarten Stekelenburg was injured.

`It’s a national discussion, but recovering from my injury is what’s most important to me now. After that I will focus on Manchester United and then we’ll see what happens,` the Dutch record international (130 caps) said to Dutch paper De Telegraaf.
