Dutch midfielder Raphael Van der Vaart has received an offer from an MLS club and Real Betis player could leave Spain in the coming days for a move to the United States.

The 33-year-old Dutch international has already been subjected to a lucrative offer from China as the transfer window slowly draws to a close, but there has been a change of development as the player himself concedes that everything is still open.

“I can see myself playing in United States. I want to play for a few more years at a good level”, Raphael van der Vaart was quoted in the Spanish daily Marca.

Sporting Kansas City are among the candidates to snap up the former Real Madrid player, while there is also interest from New York Red Bulls and Columbus Crew.

Van der Vaart joined Real Betis as a high-profile signing last summer, but has been a major disappointment in La Liga this season.

Dutch midfielder has played only seven appearances since his arrival from Hamburg and he is likely to leave los Verdiblancos in the next couple of weeks.
