The family of Rafael van der Vaart expects the Dutchman to quit Real Madrid in the summer. Chelsea have been linked with the midfielder and his uncle told Sportweek: “If he continues to not play, Rafael will leave Real. If he played more, Wesley Sneijder and Rafael could become the Andres Iniesta and Xavi of Real”.
“My nephew has a lot of patience, but if he does not play he’s in danger of losing his place in the World Cup squad.”
