Van der Vaart wants to end speculations

Dutch midfielder Rafael van der Vaart demands clarity on his future. He said this on Hamburger SV’s official side.

Van der vaart has been linked to clubs in England and Spain, such as Tottenham Hotspur and Atlético Madrid.

If it’s up to the player, those speculations end now: “I said this so many times. I feel at home in Hamburg. I love this club and would only leave it for a real top club. But apparently nobody takes my words seriously. It would be nice if the speculations stopped for once and for all.

“On Friday I’ll report to training and the way things look now, I’ll play another year for HSV,” he concluded.
