(GSM) – Bayern München coach Louis van Gaal has started the mind games after claiming Schalke 04 and Bayer Leverkusen can’t handle the pressure of a Bundesliga title race.
Bayern remained at the top of the league despite losing at Eintracht Frankfurt as neither of their two main title rivals were able to take full advantage.
“Yet again we’ve seen that it’s not easy for the others to take the lead from us,” proclaimed Van Gaal.
“We’ve been able to allow ourselves a defeat because the others can’t handle the pressure.
“We’re top, not Schalke or Leverkusen. We’re top of the league, we’re in the cup semi-finals and the quarter-finals in the Champions League.
“How many other leading European clubs can say that? Only Bordeaux and Inter. It’s unbelievable and very good.”
