Van Ginkel linked with Fenerbache switch

Fenerbache are eyeing a move for Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel, according to Talksport.

The twenty-five-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from Vitesse in 2013 but managed just four appearances before being ruled out for most of that campaign with an ACL injury.

He is yet to appear for the Blues again having been shipped out on loan, first to Milan then Stoke City before moving to PSV in January 2016 and he has been with the Eredivise outfit ever since.

He has played sixty-four times for PSV, scoring thirty-one goals and was part of the squads that won the title in both 2016 and 2018.

His fourteen league goals last term was bettered by just one of his teammates – Mexico forward Hirving Lozano.

Internationally, he has been capped eight times for his country with his last appearance coming in as a substitute in a 3-1 World Cup qualifying victory over Bulgaria back in September.
