Van Persie hints at Old Trafford exit

Robin van Persie has hinted that may have to leave Manchester United as he seeks regular first team football, according to the Mail Online.

The Netherlands international hit just ten Premier League goals last season – by far his lowest return in his last five seasons in the English top flight.

Entering the final year of his contract, the 31 year old has previously been linked with a move to Champions League finalists Juventus, and there will be no shortage of potential suitors should he decide to move on.

Since arriving in England, Van Perise has hit one hundred and forty-four Premier League goals, leaving him tenth on the list of the top scorers in the division’s history, and won the Golden Boot in both 2012 and 2013.

Internationally, the former Arsenal man has forty-nine goals in ninety-six appearances for his country and has appeared at the last three World Cup finals.
