Mirror Football are today reporting that Robin Van Persie could be on his way out of Arsenal this summer.
Arsenal are apparently slamming a £30 million price tag on their Captain to take him away from The Emirates Stadium.
It will certainly be one of the most talked about things in this summer transfer window and if Van Persie is on his way out, Juventus, Paris St Germain and Manchester City are the clubs being linked for him.
The 28-year-old was fantastic for Arsenal last campaign, scoring 30 goals in the Premier League and almost single handily leading them to a third place finish
The Dutchman is in his peak so knows that the next couple of years in his career are vital and he will want to win trophies, which makes a move away from Arsenal likely.
Van Persie is out of contract next summer so Arsene Wenger may look to sell him this year as he could end up going on a free transfer – something that would not go down well with fans.
The striker will attract a lot of attention from clubs all over Europe and could go to one of the giants of the game, although he may feel that a he owes The Gunners another season as he tries to bring them some silverware.
We shall see.
