French daily newspaper L’Equipe has suggested that Real Madrid hotshot Raphael Varane is considering his options at Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite showing a great deal of potential since arriving in Madrid, the Frenchman continues to play second fiddle to Sergio Ramos and Pepe.
The youngster appears to be growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of first team opportunities and has requested to meet the club chiefs to discuss the situation.
And even if Florentino Perez remains adamant Varane has a big role to play in the future, the 21-year-old may decide to leave if a tempting offer arrives.
According to Le 10 Sport, both Manchester United and Chelsea are hot on the trail of the France international and could make their interest concrete in the summer.
With both Ramos and Pepe out injured, Varane will be in the starting line-up when Real Madrid face Atletico Madrid later today, with los Blancos 13/8 to end a seven-match winless run in meetings with Atletico.
