The Metro understands Jamie Vardy could leave the King Power Stadium this summer after details of his contract were revealed.
The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been alerted to the news that the England international has a release clause of £30m.
A number of clubs were monitoring the 29 year old’s situation in January though he penned a new three-and-a-half year deal with the East Midlands’ side.
He has hit nineteen league goals so far this season, leaving him top of the pile in the race to for the division’s Golden Boot.
Vardy was plying his trade in non-league football less than four years ago before securing a £1m move from Fleetwood Town.
He is now hugely likely to be part of Roy Hodgson’s England squad for this summer’s European Championships, having won just four international caps so far.
