Vasco De Gama director of football Rodrigo Caetano insists the club is not planning to make a move for Manchester United midfielder Anderson.
The 21-year-old former Porto star has reportedly made an trip to Brazil earlier this week, when he should have been training with United in Manchester.
The Sun says Anderson will be fined two weeks’ wages for going AWOL.
“He is great kid, but in terms of trading him, it is very unlikely,” explained Caetano in The Sun.
“He has a good contract with Manchester and I cannot keep feeding this type of pipedream.”
