Vela would be open to Barcelona move

There were some rumours about this move last summer, but no one really could have believed them. Now, those rumours are back, as Carlos Vela is being linked with a move to Barcelona in the January transfer window! The Mexican striker has been sensational for Los Angeles FC in Major League Soccer this season, but is his move to Barcelona really on?

According to media in US and Spain, that could still happen, as Vela scored incredible 34 goals in regular season, to help LAFC win Supporters’ Shield trophy in MLS. La Liga giants reportedly considered signing former Arsenal and Real Sociedad striker this coming January, but only on a four-month loan. This way, the could get a cover for Luis Suarez.

Vela was even asked about this move and he replied with a question as well, asking who could say no to playing with Lionel Messi for four months and then going back to Los Angeles. Still, these rumours do not seem very credible…
