Veloso keen on Premiership move

Portugal international Miguel Veloso looks set to leave Sporting Lisbon at the end of this season, according to the player’s father.

Miguel’s dad believes the 22-year-old midfielder wants a move to the Premier League.

“I will guarantee that he will continue here until at least the end of the season, and then we will see what is going to happen,” Antonio Veloso told The Bolton News.

“We will speak with the club to resolve everything about his future so that he doesn’t leave on bad terms.”

Veloso has been linked with several Premier League clubs in recent months.

Bolton failed with a bid to land the highly rated midfielder in the January transfer window.
