Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti admits that he is aware of the interest in his services from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Having quickly proved his worth at Parc des Princes after joining from Pescara, the Italy international has constantly been linked with Europe’s top clubs.
The Saints have so far managed to keep hold of his services with the 21-year-old recently signing a new deal until June 2019.
Nevertheless, even if Verratti is adamant that he is happy at PSG, the midfielder admits he is on the radar of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
“Staying here was always the first choice. I play for one of the best clubs in the world with a very good coach who has confidence in me,” the Italian footballer told L’Equipe.
“When I feel well in a team, I do not look elsewhere, although there is talk of Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.”
Marco Verratti moved to Parc des Princes two years ago after helping Pescara gain promotion to the Serie A, and he has since made a total of 63 Ligue 1 appearances.
The youngster started two matches for Italy at the 2014 World Cup, but was left on the bench in the Euro 2016 qualifier against Norway despite the absence of Andrea Pirlo.
