Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has invited his international teammate Daniele De Rossi to join him at Parc des Princes.
Despite interest from top Italian clubs, the 19-year-old made a €12 million switch from Pescara to Paris Saint-Germain and has already become an important player for the Saints.
The move to Paris helped Verratti return into the national team reckoning and he has kept his place in the Azzurri squad for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Armenia and Denmark.
The talented midfielder has now invited Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi to Parc des Princes, adding fuel to speculations linking the experienced midfielder with a move to the French capital.
“Daniele is having a great time in Rome, but it would be a pleasure to play with him,” Verratti said at a press conference ahead of Italy’s qualifier against Armenia.
“I hope so, but I know it will be difficult.”
Daniele De Rossi has been repeatedly linked with the French giants, with Zdenek Zeman’s decision to drop him for the Serie A game against Atalanta only fueling the transfer talk.
