According to reports in Italy, the talks between Marco Verratti and Paris Saint-Germain in regards to a new deal for the midfielder have hit a brick wall. The 26 year old has been long since linked with a move away from the French champions but the general belief was that they’d be able to get a deal done. Alas, it doesn’t seem as if that’s going to be the case.
It’d be a huge blow for a PSG side who are desperately trying to keep hold of their biggest stars, only to no avail with many of them realising that there are bigger clubs out there just waiting to sign them. Napoli, Juventus and Inter Milan are believed to be the most interested parties, with his current deal being set to expire in 2021.
If nothing else, though, at least fans can enjoy the good times they’ve already shared together with Verratti.
