Swedish defender Victor Lindelof has emerged as one of the primary targets for AS Roma, according to Sky Sport Italia.
It is no secret that the Giallorossi are looking to reinforce their back line and the Benfica starlet is one of the players they are looking at.
It is believed that Benfica would consider offers in the region of €20 million for their prized asset, even though some sources suggest the Eagles are referring interested sides to the player’s €30 million release clause.
Victor Lindelof has enjoyed a meteoric rise this season, becoming a first team regular for both Benfica and Sweden, and he is already being linked with a big club move.
The 21-year-old has made just 15 league appearances for the Eagles this season, but he clearly did enough to catch the eye of top European sides and will have another opportunity to impress at the Euro 2016 finals.
