Portuguese daily newspaper Record understands that Manchester United have finally reached an agreement to sign Swedish defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
The Red Devils have agreed to pay £30 million for the highly rated footballer, while the Eagles could earn another £4 million in various add ons.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho refused to confirm his interest in Lindelof out of respect for Benfica, but it is now clear the deal was already in the works.
Following several unsuccessful attempts to bring the Swedish centre-back to Old Trafford, the Red Devils have finally succeeded in their quest, although they will have to wait for few more days before officially unveiling their new player.
Namely, Lindelof will only undergo medical tests after representing Sweden in the 2018 World Cup qualifier against France, where Blagult are 19/4 to upset Les Bleus.
