Nigeria international winger Victor Moses is said to be inches away from sealing a January transfer from Chelsea to Fenerbahce.
The 28-year-old endured a difficult time at Chelsea this season. He only made two substitute appearances for the Blues this season, managing only 26 minutes of competitive action and is desperately looking for a way out.
Reports from England claim the Nigerian has already given the nod to Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce but is looking to gain certain assurances before closing the deal.
According to the Nigerian outlet Football Live, Moses has made a demand of £2.86 million as an ‘assurance fee’ in the likelihood of the Turkish side getting relegated after he joins in. Moses is also looking for a hefty bonus fee if he helps Fenerbahce avoid relegation.
The Istanbul-based club are currently sitting in 17th place in the Super Lig table with 16 points after 17 rounds of action. With only Rizespor beneath them on the ladder, Victor Moses wants to make sure his position is safe ahead of any potential transfer.
Fenerbahce are looking to get Moses on a six-month loan from Chelsea with a prospect of signing him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
