According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Arturo Vidal has agreed to take a pay cut to facilitate a move to Inter Milan this summer.
The veteran midfielder is believed to be in talks to terminate his contract with Barcelona, as he prepares to try and make his return to Serie A. Vidal spent four years with Juventus prior to his move to Bayern Munich, and eventually, the Nou Camp.
Inter have made it clear that they are going to be ruthless in going after who they want this summer, and it appears as if Vidal now fits the bill. Barca, on the other hand, are in a major period of change, and that’s going to involve quite a lot of turnover – both with incomings and outgoings.
Vidal has enjoyed an incredibly lucrative career with Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga and Copa America titles under his belt, and you could argue this would be the final big move of his time in the game.
