The entire football world is praying for Appie who collapsed at a friendly game against Werder Bremen in preseason and has since then been in intensive care with a permanent brain damage.
Past couple of weeks have been a rather intense period for the club who never miss an opportunity to show their support to Appie.
Ajax played Nice on Wednesday night in a Champions League qualifier when a classy move occurred as Ajax players stopped the play to join their supporters in applause for Appie.
