Everton needed to put up a fight against Lyon in order to save their European season but they took it too literally after Ashley Williams got in a brawl with players of the French club following his needless challenge on Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes.
A mass brawl ensued with players of both teams going in on each other but it was an Everton fan who grabbed the headlines.
