Fiorentina and Juventus are the two Italian clubs that share bitter rivalry on the pitch and off of it as well.
We’ve seen through history a couple of unpleasant situations between the two sides but the scenes the world witnessed on Thursday were what football is all about.
Having just won their Champions League match against Tottenham in London, Juventus players and staff went straight back home and to Florence to pay their respect to tragically passed Davide Astori.
Led by Giorgio Chiellini and Gianluigi Buffon, the Juventus players were greeted by a warm applause.
It was a pure class moment from Fiorentina fans who gave their captain one hell of a send off.
