It’s long been announced but yesterday it was confirmed – Andre Pirlo is retiring from professional football.
The Italian genius is hanging his boots after a glorious career which saw him wear shirts of biggest Serie A teams and reach incredible heights with his national team.
Pirlo is leaving a huge legacy behind him and will remain remembered as one of the most elegant players in the history of this game.
It’s exactly the kind of tribute he got from former club Juventus who thanked the Italian Maestro with a classy video.
