Mark Clattenburg is no longer in the Premier League but his face refuses to stay out of the sport pages in England (and the rest of the world).
The referee is currently plying his trade for the Saudi Professional League where he drew plenty of plaudits recently when he stopped the game for prayer, but he hit the headlines once again this weekend.
Clattenburg took a water bottle to the face on Saturday by left-back Hussein Sayed who accidentally struck the ref as he chucked it towards the departing physio.
The player was quick to apologize and Clattenburg was a proper sport as he took time to make a laugh out of it as he pretended to book Sayed.
Have a look.
