After a superb 2-1 win over red-hot Premier League heavyweights Manchester City, Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paolo Fonseca had to keep a promise he made.
Ukraine giants faced a daunting task of getting through a group where City, Napoli and Feyenoord were al lexpected to vie for the first two spots but Fonseca was convinced his side could pull it off.
The Shakhtar boss even made a promise to club’s CEO that he’d dress up as Zorro if Shakhtar managed to secure the Champions League knockout stage.
He duly delivered following a win over Citizens.
