Former Barcelona and France international Eric Abidal, who beat liver cancer to a full recovery and return to action, once again showed he is a man of great character.
Having retired in 2014 after a short spell with Greek giants Olympiacos, Eric Abidal returned to Barcelona for an ambassador’s role which allows him to continue his legacy with formidable work off the pitch.
In the latest of actions Eric Abidal went on to make a dream come true for a young terminally-ill Barcelona fan. Abidal organized for the youngster’s dream of visiting Camp Nou to be realized through a virtual tour since young Pol wasn’t capable of making the trip himself.
Hooking up a robot to Pol’s laptop, Abidal took the young fan on a tour of Barcelona’s home ground.
