VIDEO: Trouble outside Vicente Calderon before the Madrid derby

Atletico Madrid managed to beat Real Madrid in the return leg of the Champions League semifinal at Vicente Calderon, but still failed to qualify to the showpiece in Cardiff.

It was a tense affair both on and off the pitch with Atletico and Real fans clashing before the match outside the stadium.

Police had to get involved as tension spilled over in the Spanish capital.
